Notice on the end of winter road restrictions for the year 2020. The roads around the Niseko area, which are currently closed for winter, are scheduled to reopen, as stated below.
*Please note that the dates may change in the future depending on the snow melting and weather state.
(1) Route 66, Iwauchi Toya Line (common name: Panorama Line)
Closed between 744-1 Oikomi, Kyowa Town and Yusato, Rankoshi Town (from the Yuri gate) Length of the closed road: approx. 18.3km
*Scheduled to reopen at 10:00 am, Friday, April 24, 2020
(2) Route 268 Iwanai Rankoshi Line
Closed between Kyowa Town’s Oikomi Gate (Intersection of the Iwanai Toya Prefectural Road) and Niimi 1, Rankoshi Town (Niimi Onsen Gate) Length of the closed road: approx. 7km

(3) Route 58, Kutchan Niseko Line (common name: Echo Line)
Closed between Kutchan Town’s Hanazono National Forest, 12 Rinpan Gate and the Niseko-cho Rankoshi-cho Kai Gate (Goshiki Onsen) Length of the closed road: approx. 5.9km
