In Niseko Town, in collaboration with seven municipalities inside and outside Hokkaido, we will practice community development through sustainable tourism and become a pioneering model for regional revitalization. We have received the adoption of the “Sustainable Tourism Area Development Model Municipalities” Formation Project.
As part of the national program of this project, we will hold a training program for sustainable tourism in Niseko Town. This program is a three-day training that allows you to learn about sustainable tourism, how to read indicators, how to approach, etc. in a short-term intensive manner.
Participants will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion” from the “GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council)”.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn about the international standards for sustainable tourism.

GSTC, Sustainable Tourism Training Program, Participation Guidelines:
・ Date: September 13th (Monday) to 15th (Wednesday), 3rd year of Reiwa (2021)
・ Target people: Tourism companies in the town block (activity, accommodation, eating and drinking, souvenirs/products, transportation, etc.)
・ Participation fee: free
・ Capacity: 20 people (first-come-first-served basis)
・ Meeting place: Niseko Townspeople Center
・ Main event: GSTC Headquarters
・ Co-sponsored: Niseko Town, Niseko Resort Tourist Association Co., Ltd.
